“Reworked & Remastered”

“Thoughts of an Unholy Saint” is the 2020 pandemic passion project of guitarist, Max Delaney, and I. Written, recorded, mixed and mastered in our BYU-I apartment and the now defunct studio, The Cave. I took the time to re-visit, re-work, re-mix, and re-master three of my favorites from the record in 2022. The most difficult task was revitalizing the vocals as most of the songs had the original takes be lost in the process. Some were salvageable with appropriate equalizing and de-essing while others had to be re-recorded entirely.
