Danny approached me with a rough recording of the vocals asking if I could help write, produce, and record the song. Over the course of a weekend I came back with a track that we’ve continued build upon over some time with the intent of adding live instruments in the near future.
To record the vocals we used a Nuemann U87 microphone under a blanket being held up by a closet door and some wall hooks while I sat on the other side and tracked into Logic. The mixing process proved to be difficult with so many midi elements but all in all this is a place holder version that a drummer, bassist, or guitarist can learn the song from.
